Who we are:

Located in Clarksville, Iowa, Schmadeke Feed Mill has been a local, family-owned business since 1934. We buy and sell corn and soybeans with convenient locations in Clarksville and Allison. We are flexible and service-oriented, making us easy to do business with.

We seek to provide competitive bids for our customers’ grain by cutting overhead costs and maintaining access to regional and global markets. We operate with the necessary levels of management to reduce costs and protect margins for our customers. We maintain relationships with railroads and foreign container businesses to ensure outlets for the grain we purchase.

Fifty-seven percent of the corn grown in Iowa is used to produce nearly 27 percent of U.S. ethanol. Schmadeke Feed Mill works with ethanol producers to provide low-cost fuel for Iowans and feed for livestock producers.

We are committed to innovation in agricultural production to put more dollars into customers’ pockets. That is why we have offered non-GMO soybeans programs for the past few years. Farmers can begin pricing at any time and as often as they like.
